Shall We Go Skiing?
Annoyingly neurodivergence doesn't take a break when you're on a winter holiday
I’m going to start this post by stating our recent ski trip exceeded my expectations greatly; to say I was apprehensive for all manner of reasons would be an understatement but I want to make it very clear that actually, I’m so very glad we went.
Greg’s job fresh out of school (maybe also when he was in school?) was at Snozone, which is generally recognised as the UK’s largest indoor snow centre. Most of his family holidays involved skiing and he absolutely considers it an essential part of his year. When we first got together, I’d seen snow like, 4 times in my entire life and stretched to a bit of sledging at my local park. I thought salopettes was a French word for some sort of deli meat.
